BIOGRAPHY

Como estás, amigos? o_O
Im Fabretes. 
Born in La Paz, Bolivia, I migrated to Germany in 2015 where I studied International Business (don't ask me why, well if you want, ask). 
 
I do art, music and photography not because I love art and the art world or because my interest in art is so high. I do art because I need to, I want to and I can. 

With no school of any kind, my art is based on experience, intuition, self-discovery, -teaching and -acceptance. I like to up-cycle and transform existing materials found all around which shaped my body of work.

Based in Berlin, my work is a constant discussion within myself, trying to understand those ethical, moral, social, political, family based and economical constructs and evaluations that me and we, humans, have created and inherited throughout history and our own lives.

Creation is like an extension of me person, an extension to life itself. It allows me to deep dive into those questions and brings opportunities for self reflection, understanding that I am part of everything, particularly all that I reject.
